These are all scanned photos from our trip to Quebec in September 1997. If you haven't seen it yet, you might want to check out page one first.

This was kind of a common sight. You would see this building, and think it was one building, but then notice the two doors and the two roofs. Clearly the people who live there think it's two buildings. For some reason this fascinated us. :-)

Obviously we're outside of the city at this point. The drive between Montreal and Quebec City is very beautiful.

This is a huge waterfall in the area (The Montmorency Falls in Parc de la Chute-Montmorency). It's a short drive out of Quebec City. For some perspective the little dots on the bridge over the waterfall are people.

We didn't go up to the bridge, but we did walk up these stairs to a nice viewing area. This was a heck of a climb but well worth it.

There are surprisingly few guides that cover both Montreal and Quebec City, and most of the ones that do exist are pretty bad. I can't see going to Quebec and not visiting both cities, so I'm not sure why there's such a void. Luckily there is this one book in print and it's supposed to be pretty decent.
