The sweatshirt is from the Mills Free Radicals, the Chemistry club. If you're a real geek you can spot at least two typos. I guess this makes this a rare edition. Photographically the trick to this sort of thing is use f/8 or more to get a decent depth of field, focus on the foreground subject, and use fill flash to illuminate the foreground subject.
