Notice that she's being hooded. Mills still hoods undergraduates which is kind of old fashioned mostly because colleges can't be bothered. At a state school for graduation you probably won't even get your name called anymore (although they still hood PhDs). At a smaller school you can expect them to at least read your name. And at Mills they still individually hood undergraduates which is very cool.
